Symposium 2023 is a day full of virtual sessions for all participants, followed by an in-person keynote panel in NYC. We’ll end the day together with a beautiful networking reception.
Session Description: Whether it’s what motivates individuals to give, or grounds the development of nonprofit organizations, religion plays a critical role in philanthropy. Philanthropy has the power to build communities and unite people across many diverse populations and religious backgrounds.
This facilitated panel will provide a variety of religious perspectives on engaging in philanthropy as a way of living out one’s faith to help build a just and peaceful world. The panel will feature a diverse group of individuals who are inspired by their faith to give in a variety of ways to impact positive change across the globe. In addition to the moderated discussion, time will also be reserved for audience questions.
Yolanda hosts the WOC Awards, honoring women of color in fundraising and philanthropy.
Together with Philanthropy Together, WOC is headed to Dallas.
